Learning outcomes: Know and understand the methodology and tools of information-analytical work for effective management of information resources of the organization, ensure their protection from unauthorized interference. Implement organizational measures to ensure security, classify and manage organizational resources according to current standards, manage communications and processes Identify and address issues related to the design, installation, configuration selection, management and operation of security systems for the organization's network.
Required prior and related subjects: Regulatory support, standards and policies of information and cyber security. Computer networks. Operating Systems. Socio-technical security. International standards and practices in the field of information security.
Summary of the subject: Study of information-analytical work in the organization, which is performed to detect schemes of unfair competition, fraud, deception in the field of protection of information resources to avoid getting into a situation of unmanageable risk. Research tools for analysis and synthesis to process information coming from other organizations. Study of the process of information-analytical work, during which the information content of the final product changes: the stage of collecting and processing information and obtaining information and types of data; stage of data evaluation and obtaining information in the form of analytical data; stage of evaluation of analytical data and development of proposals in the management decision.
