Завдання: The study of the discipline involves the formation of competencies in students:
general competencies:
GC1. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations;
GC5. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge
professional competencies:
PC5. Ability to restore the functioning of information and information and communication systems after the realization of threats, cyber attacks, failures and failures of various classes and origins;
PC6. Ability to implement and ensure the functioning of integrated information security systems (complexes of regulatory, organizational and technical means and methods, procedures, practices, etc;)
PC9. Ability to apply methods and means of technical protection of information at the objects of information activity.
Learning outcomes: LR6. Adapt to new conditions and technologies of professional activity, predict the final result.

Identify threats of creating technical channels of information leakage at information activity objects; implement means and measures of technical protection of information from leakage through technical channels, maintain and monitor the state of information protection hardware and technical information protection complexes.

Summary of the subject: Within the scope of the discipline, the principles of construction, functionality and scope of application of analog and digital components and technical information protection devices are highlighted. The basics of circuit theory and signal theory, principles and methods of synthesis and analysis of digital devices are considered. The general basics of the application of analog and digital information protection devices are presented. Integral quantities characterizing the electromagnetic field, basic laws of electromagnetic phenomena, elements of electric circuits and their characteristics are considered. The main methods of analysis of electrical circuits are studied: the method of Kirchhoff's laws, the method of equivalent transformations; method of contour currents; nodal stress method. Methods of mathematical description of signals are analyzed, analog signals, frequency, time and operator description of signals are considered. Discretized and digital signals and features of modulated and random signals are studied. The basics of Boolean algebra and the main methods of synthesis and analysis of digital information protection devices are considered. The features of the construction of basic digital information protection devices, methods and means of their automated synthesis and analysis are analyzed.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control of classroom classes is carried out with the aim of clarifying the circumstances of the educational process, determining its results in the following forms:
• preliminary detection of students' knowledge level before classes begin;
• current check in the process of assimilation of each topic being studied;
• evaluation of the student's activity in the course of lectures;
• assessment of the student's activity in the process of practical classes;
• checking the performance of laboratory work;
• verification of performance of practical works;
• checking the performance of control work;
• an oral survey of the assimilation of knowledge acquired in the process of performing laboratory work;
Final (examination) control is carried out based on the results of test control and oral survey.

Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral examination (30%);
• final control (70 %, control measure, exam): written-oral form (70%).

Examination control: 70 points (64 points written component, 6 points oral component).
Total for the discipline: 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
