Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: integral competence: - The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems during professional activities in the field of information technologies or in the learning process, which involves the application of theories and methods of computer engineering and are characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions. general competence: - Ability to identify, pose and solve problems. special competences: - Ability to design computer systems and networks taking into account goals, limitations, technical, economic and legal aspects. - The ability to use and implement new technologies, including technologies of smart, mobile, green and secure computing, to participate in the modernization and reconstruction of computer systems and networks, various embedded and distributed applications, in particular with the aim of increasing their efficiency. professional competence: - Possessing in-depth knowledge of hardware and software design of problem-oriented computer systems.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following skills and learning outcomes: - From written communication (at the level of transmitting complex information); - From oral communication (at the level of transmitting complex messages); - The ability to communicate in the first (native) language, the ability to correctly, logically and clearly build one's oral and written speech; - Possession of the necessary professional communication skills in a second (foreign) language; - Knowledge and understanding of the subject field, profession; basic concepts, basic categories, technical concepts; - Ability to continuous and active learning, self-education, continuous improvement of qualifications; - Analytical thinking (at the level of application of general analysis); - Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis; - Planning and organization (at the level of planning and organization of multi-component complex activities); - Critical thinking (at the level of formulating general strategies on multidimensional strategic issues); - Ability to find, process and analyze information from various sources; the ability to use information and communication technologies.
Required prior and related subjects: - Research and design of computer systems and networks - Network information technologies
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Research and design of wireless networks" aims to develop in students a systematic understanding of the directions of research and development of computer networks, including the latest technologies for designing universal and specialized hardware and software computer tools (including compatible ones), as well as to inculcate the ability to perform analytical work on current problems of the development of computer systems and networks. As a result of mastering the educational material of the discipline, students should understand conceptual issues and the multifaceted nature of the problem of designing wireless networks, know the principles of construction and directions of development of modern computer networks, be able to apply methods of research work in the creation and testing of the use of wireless networks. To master this discipline, knowledge of the following disciplines is necessary: ??"Research and design of computer systems and networks", "Network information technologies".
Опис: 1. Theory of communication and information. 2. Wireless personal network (wpan) is not based on ip. 3. Wpan and wlan based on ip. 4. Routers and gateways. 5. Data analysis and machine learning in cloud and fog platforms.
Assessment methods and criteria: Assessment of students' knowledge in the discipline "Research and design of wireless networks" is carried out in accordance with the work curriculum in the form of a semester control, which is carried out at the end of the semester and contains the results of the current control of students' knowledge, which is evaluated for the performance of laboratory work, and a control measure - an answer to the corresponding exam ticket. The control measure is a mandatory type of control and is conducted in written and oral form at the end of the semester. Current monitoring of lecture classes is carried out in order to identify the student's readiness for classes in the following forms: - a selective oral survey before the start of classes; - assessment of the student's activity in the course of classes, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, additions to previous answers, etc. Control questions are divided into: a) test tasks - choose the correct answers; b) problematic – creation of problematic situations; c) questions-replies - to identify cause-and-effect relationships; d) situational tasks - to determine the answer according to a certain situation; e) issues of a reproductive nature - determination of practical significance.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Written reports on labs, oral examination, independent work (30%); final control (control measure, examination), written-oral form (70%).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
