Characteristics of the educational program: Field of knowledge 19 "Architecture and Construction". Specialty 192 " Building and Civil Engineering ". The educational and professional program is based on modern engineering and technical developments and the results of scientific research in the field of construction and architecture and focuses on current specialization, within which further professional career is possible: energy management, use of non-traditional and secondary energy resources, energy-saving heating and ventilation systems, energy audit, air pool protection.
Програмні результати навчання: - design buildings and structures (in accordance with specialization), including usage of computer design software systems; - make effective design and technical decisions, taking into account the features of the construction object, aspects of social and ethical responsibility, technical and economic justification, determination of the optimal mode of its operation and implementation of resource and energy saving measures; - carry out a technical expertise of projects of construction and civil engineering objects (in accordance with specialization), controlling the compliance of projects and technical documentation with design tasks, technical conditions and other current regulatory and legal documents in the field of architecture and construction; - ensure quality in the execution of civil engineering objects; - communicate freely in national language orally and in writing to discuss professional problems and results of activities in the field of architecture and construction; - Apply modern mathematical methods for analysis statistical data, calculation and optimization of design parameters and technological processes of construction of buildings and structures; - develop labor and environmental protection measures during research and production activities; - select modern materials, technologies and methods of construction works, taking into account the architectural and constructive part of the project and the production base of the construction organization; - collect the necessary information using scientific and technical literature, databases and other sources, analyze and evaluate it; - ability to carry out commercial and economic activities of intellectual property protection in the field of architecture and construction; - manage complex, unpredictable construction processes that require new strategic approaches; - аpply acquired knowledge and understanding to design and technical solutions for heating systems, taking into account the peculiarities of the construction object for the identification, formulation, and resolution of tasks related to the development of heating, gas supply, and ventilation systems, using known methods; - apply knowledge to solve typical synthesis and analysis tasks in gas supply systems within the complex of heating, gas supply, and ventilation systems; - think systematically and apply creative abilities to generate fundamentally new ideas in the development of heating, gas supply, and ventilation systems; - calculate, design, research market trends, conduct marketing analysis, and introduce new products to the market; - specialized conceptual knowledge that includes current scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or field of knowledge and is the basis for original thinking and conducting research; - critical understanding of problems in the field of construction and civil engineering; - specialized problem-solving skills required to conduct research and/or conduct innovative activities to develop new knowledge and procedures; - ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts; - ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments in the presence of incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility; - clear and unambiguous presentation of own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular to persons studying; - managing work or learning processes that are complex, unpredictable and require new strategic approaches; - responsibility for the contribution to professional knowledge and practice and/or evaluation of the results of the activities of teams and collectives; - ability to continue learning with a high degree of autonomy.
Academic mobility: The program provides practical training. Academic mobility for educational and internship programs in European countries is possible. Some courses can be taught in English.
