Summary of the subject: The aim of the course is to study and apply probabilistic and correlation methods for the analysis and synthesis of automated control systems and computer integrated technologies. The random processes and their main characteristics, the theory of random processes and its application in automation problems are considered; engineering methods and algorithms for calculating correlation and spectral functions are considered. Ways to build mathematical models of control objects using probabilistic methods are presented. The applications of probabilistic and correlation methods in problems of measuring technological parameters and their metrological support are considered.
Assessment methods and criteria: - written reports on laboratory works, oral questioning (35%); - final control - exam: written and oral form (65%).
