Required prior and related subjects: Previous disciplines: - Research in construction - Engineering networks and structures Related and the following disciplines: - Philosophy and methodology of science - Research seminar in the field of construction and civil engineering - Nonlinear problems of mechanics of building structures and engineering networks
Summary of the subject: Abstract of the discipline The discipline "Modern areas of research in the field of construction and engineering systems" involves the study, analysis, research and application of modern technologies to maintain the microclimate of buildings and structures. The issues considered during the study of the discipline are very relevant, as they concern the problems of energy efficiency and rational use of fuel and energy resources in housing and communal services. The current state of heating systems of buildings requires new approaches to solving this problem, as there is a decentralization of heat sources, the installation of individual heating systems that directly meet the requirements of consumers. In addition, the use of the latest technologies in building materials in order to reduce heat loss by external protections, in the future the transition to the construction of "Passive houses" or houses "zero energy", requires appropriate knowledge of technologies to ensure the microclimate of the premises. The course covers current issues of analysis of the reduction of consumption of traditional fossil fuels and the transition to alternative energy sources in heating systems. The methodological bases of the scientific approach of energy audit of buildings and constructions are considered. Section 1. The main directions of scientific research in the context of development of systems of maintenance of parameters of a microclimate Section 2. Substantiation of urgency of modernization of heat and gas supply systems to ensure the viability of buildings and structures. Section 3. Modern technologies of modernization of heat generating systems. Section 4. Heating technologies of passive houses.
Assessment methods and criteria: Assessment of students' knowledge in the discipline "Innovative technologies of heat and gas supply of buildings" is carried out in the form of current controls, and semester control of knowledge, which is carried out at the end of the semester. Current control of students' knowledge in the discipline "Innovative technologies of heat and gas supply of buildings" includes the following forms of assessment: Assessment during the lesson: - Survey or testing of students' knowledge of theoretical material - Assessment of tasks (tasks) during the lesson - Evaluation of the implementation of an individual research task Semester control of knowledge includes the results of the current control of students' knowledge, which was conducted during the semester, the results of control of the individual task and the results of tests in the discipline. The maximum number of points for the semester control is 100. The actual number of points received by the student is transferred to the state final grade. Computer testing is carried out in the virtual learning environment of "Lviv Polytechnic" on the basis of mastering the theoretical part of the course.
