Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline is to develop modern composite materials and deepen knowledge about the physico-chemical bases of the technology of production of special purpose construction products based on them, their operational properties, durability and specifics of use.
Завдання: General competences: INT. The ability to solve problems of a research and/or innovative nature in the field of construction and civil engineering. GC04. Ability to make informed decisions. GK05. The ability to evaluate and ensure the quality of the work performed. Professional competences: SC01. Ability to integrate knowledge from other fields and specialized conceptual knowledge in construction and civil engineering, combined with compliance with applicable regulations, to solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts. SC03. Ability to develop and implement projects in the field of construction and civil engineering.
Learning outcomes: LR1 (LR01. Design buildings and structures (according to specialization), including using computer design tools). LR2 (LR02. Make effective design and technical decisions, taking into account the features of the construction object, aspects of social and ethical responsibility, technical and economic justification, determination of the optimal mode of its operation and implementation of resource and energy saving measures). LR3 (LR03. To carry out technical examination of projects of construction and civil engineering objects (according to specialization), carrying out control of compliance of projects and technical documentation with design tasks, technical conditions and other valid regulatory and legal documents in the field of architecture and construction). LR4 (LR04. To ensure quality in the implementation of construction and civil engineering objects). LR5 (LR08. Select modern materials, technologies and methods of construction works, taking into account the architectural and planning, constructive part of the project and the production base of the construction organization). LR6 (LR09. Collect the necessary information, using scientific and technical literature, databases and other sources, analyze and evaluate it). LR7 (LR10. Ability to carry out commercial and economic activities of intellectual property protection in the field of architecture and construction). LR8 (Kn1. Specialized conceptual knowledge, which includes modern scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or field of knowledge and is the basis for original thinking and conducting research). Summary of the subject: The discipline examines the principles of construction of modern composite materials and the properties of mortars and concretes as composite materials. The main provisions regarding the design of self-compacting, fiber-reinforced, heat-resistant and aerated concrete compositions are laid out in accordance with the current regulatory documents. In addition, the technology of vibro-pressed, fiber-reinforced, cement-free concrete is considered. Special attention is paid to the durability of building structures, in particular the corrosion of cement stone and metal. Studying the course requires systematic and thorough knowledge of the basic disciplines - " Binder Materials", " Concretes and Building Mortars, Aggregates for Concretes", " Materials of Building Chemistry". Knowledge and skills acquired during the study of the discipline are used by students in the study of the main professional disciplines " Technology of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Structures".
Опис: The study of the discipline involves consideration of the following topics: Principles of composite construction and properties of solutions and concrete as composite materials. General principles of construction of modern composite materials. Monolithic concrete and reinforced concrete. Precast concrete and reinforced concrete. Vibro-pressed concrete technology. Technology of highly functional concrete. Technology of self-compacting concrete. The technology of manufacturing concretes, distinguished by increased physical and mechanical characteristics, using reinforcing components of the fibrous structure (fibrous concretes). Technology of aerated concrete. Heat-resistant concrete. Technology of modified construction mortars. Corrosion of concrete and reinforced concrete. Types of corrosion of cement stone and concrete in a liquid aggressive environment.
Assessment methods and criteria: The assessment of the student's current control is based on the result of successful performance and defense of laboratory work and writing and presentation of a scientific essay (in the form of a presentation). The form of semester control is an exam.
