Learning outcomes: -Know innovative technologies and methods in the field of water management and environmental engineering; -Know the theory and methods of research planning, modern methods and methods of research, relevant equipment and apparatus; -Know the methodology of hydraulic, hydraulic and other engineering calculations of water management systems and their elements, taking into account their relationship and interaction; -Know the laws and methods of modeling processes and phenomena in the field of water management and environmental engineering; -Know specialized information and communication technologies and modern computer software in the professional field; -Know the principles and methods of labor protection and civil safety in the professional field; -Know the methodology of project management in the field of water management, environmental and hydraulic construction; -Know the methods and tools for studying the current state of water management, hydraulic and environmental systems, modeling and forecasting its changes over time; - Know the principles and methods of development and implementation of projects for reconstruction and modernization of water management, hydraulic and environmental systems; -Know the economic principles of professional activity and mechanisms for making management decisions

Summary of the subject: Characteristics of water sources. Quality of drinking water. Methods and schemes of water treatment for drinking water. Agriculture reagent stations and water treatment solutions and suspensions dispensing reagents. Types of mixers and their calculation. Classification plastivtseutvorennya cameras and their calculation. Classification of septic tanks, their calculation. Classification lighting hanging in a layer of sediment, their calculation. Types of filters, their calculation. Facilities for water disinfection. Fluoridation of water and defluorination.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current oral examination (30%) • final control (exam): written-oral form (70%)
