Learning outcomes: Following the completion of the module the student should: - know regulatory support and organization of work safety, basic requirements and measures for the safe resettlement of jobs (occupational health, industrial hygiene, safety measures electrical and fire safety) order an investigation, recording and analysis of accidents and professional diseases, principles of functioning of the Unified state system of civil protection, the latest methods of forecasting of emergency, building models of their development, justification set of measures aimed at prevention of emergency, protect personnel, property in terms of the National Assembly, localization and liquidation of their consequences; - be able to carry out safety management and decisions on civil protection within their powers, to apply modern methods of research and analysis of risks, threats and hazards in the workplace and calculation parameters wound factors on sources of emergency facilities, provide measures to prevent NS and protection of personnel, implement organizational and technical measures to minimize the risks of industrial injuries, occupational diseases and accidents.
Required prior and related subjects: prerequisite: Life Safety, Fundamental of ecology, Basics of labor protection;
Summary of the subject: Legal and organizational issues of safety in Ukraine and international standards. Occupational Health and industrial health in enterprises in production facilities. Labour safety. Basic fire prevention measures on industrial sites. Means and measures an electrosecurity premises. Investigation and account of accidents, occupational diseases and accidents at work. State policy in the field of civil protection of population and territories from emergency situations of technogenic and natural character. Monitoring natural and man-made hazards that may cause emergencies. The methods of forecasting negative consequences of emergency situations of technogenic origin. Measures population and areas protection in the regions of natural and man-made emergencies.
Assessment methods and criteria: Final control - 100 scores: - theoretical material (testing)- 50 scores; - calculated and graphic work - 20 scores; - individual assignments - 30 scores.
