Learning outcomes: • Ability to solve complex tasks and practical problems in the information, library and archival field or in the learning process, which involves research and / or innovation and is characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements. • Ability to identify, formulate and solve problems. • Ability to use computer technology to improve professional activity, understand the principles of design and operation of automated databases, the Semantic Web, web services and social media. • Ability to carry out information monitoring. • Use applied socio-communication technologies to organize effective communication at the professional, scientific and social levels based on tolerance, dialogue and cooperation. • Create and implement information products and services demanded by consumers. • Use knowledge and skills in data collection, modeling of document and information systems and their resources in the analysis of the competitiveness of the institution. • Ability to communicate, including oral, written and electronic communication in Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish). • Ability to use a variety of methods, including information technology, to communicate effectively at the professional and social levels.

Summary of the subject: The course covers the issues of language support for working with documents, working with automated systems for computer translation of text documents (including Lingvo Live and Abbyy Lingvo, Google Translate, computer translator Pragma, etc.), automated word processing systems in documents, with the specifics of the language support of the company's PR-campaign documentation. Creation of documents (resumes, cover letters, cover letters, feedback, reviews, electronic business letters, presentations, etc.) in Ukrainian and English using templates and specialized software.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral examination (40%); • final control (exam): written, oral form (60%).
