Learning outcomes: The purpose of the discipline "Modern electronic automotive technology" is to master students' thorough knowledge of modern electronic automotive technology; acquaintance with the elemental base of automotive electronic technologies; study of theoretical bases of design of microcontroller control systems in modern cars; study of programming methods of modern electronic automobile systems. Having received such knowledge, the future specialist will be able to competently develop algorithms for diagnosing modern electronic systems of the car and choose the metrological characteristics of the equipment for its implementation. The aim of the course is to teach students to correctly apply theoretical knowledge of the basics of metrology and structure of modern electronic systems of cars and in practice to use the acquired knowledge to select measuring equipment for their diagnosis.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Modern electronic automotive technology" considers theoretical and practical aspects related to the operation and diagnosis of electronic systems of modern automobiles. The analysis of various methods of diagnosis is carried out. Particular attention is paid to the metrological support of the diagnostic process. At the same time, specific areas of practical use of environmental characteristics of the car and their diagnosis are considered.
