Learning outcomes: - To have the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems during professional activities in the field of automation and instrumentation, metrology and information and measurement technology, computerized technical diagnostics, metrological provision of instruments and measuring devices, their metrological verification and calibration, which involves the application of metrology to solve applied diagnostic tasks in the branches of the national economy; - to be able to organize and conduct measurements, technical control and tests; - to be able to use information technologies when selecting and developing software for processing measurement information; - to be able to explain and describe the principles of construction of computing and measuring subsystems and modules used in solving measuring problems; - to be able to establish a rational nomenclature of metrological characteristics of measuring devices to obtain measurement results with a specified accuracy; - to know and be able to use a modern elemental base when tampering with a set, developing and designing nodes of information and measuring equipment.

Summary of the subject: Preparation of students for engineering activities to understand the ways of selection or development of measuring systems; task - studying the basic principles of sensor construction, studying the physical phenomena that underlie the functioning of various sensors, which make it possible to register the processes of vibrational changes in the environment, studying the principles and basics of their use, practical examples of application in measuring systems, as well as the formation of theoretical and practical skills necessary for the selection, use and analysis of their application, the ability to work with the software of the companies LabVieW, IFM Electronic, SiOS, the development of the ability and readiness: to conduct exploratory patent research in the field of professional activity; perform computational and graphic work on the design of information and hardware modules of sensor systems, describe and properly record the process of conducting vibration measurements.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control of students' knowledge during classes; - assessment of the performance of laboratory work; - carrying out the semester assessment.
