Learning outcomes: 1. To carry out professional activities in social interaction based on humanistic and ethical principles (PRN 1). 2. To carry out professional communication with the participants of the labor process in the modern Ukrainian language (PRN 2). 3. Adhere to the norms of communication in professional interaction with colleagues, management, students, work effectively in a team (PRN 6). 4. To identify future professional activity as socially significant for the effective development of the country (PRN 7). 5. Know the basic requirements of labor protection, safety technology, fire safety and sanitary and hygienic regime when performing professional activities in the maintenance of railway infrastructure objects (PRN 25).

Summary of the subject: The main task of practice is for students to acquire the skills of working with geodetic devices; mastering the technique of geodetic measurements and constructions, mastering the skills of organizing work in a team. As a result of the practice, students should know the image of the relief of the area on the plan, methods and techniques of performing topographic surveys, geodetic devices, their verification, and methods of measuring angles, line lengths and excesses, plan-elevation survey justification, the main types of geodetic work for surveys, design , construction and repair and maintenance works, detailed marking of structures and networks in the area. To study the basic requirements for labor protection and safety techniques during practice in engineering geodesy, making relevant entries in the safety technique journal.
Assessment methods and criteria: Diagnostics of students' knowledge takes place on the basis of the defense of a report on the works performed during practice, by conducting an oral survey.
