Learning outcomes: Program learning outcomes: Critically consider, choose and use the necessary scientific, methodical and analytical tools for management in unpredictable conditions. Identify problems in the organization and justify methods of solving them. Have the skills to make, substantiate and ensure the implementation of management decisions in unpredictable conditions, taking into account the requirements of current legislation, ethical considerations and social responsibility. Organize and carry out effective communications within the team, with representatives of various professional groups and in an international context. Apply specialized software and information systems to solve organizational management problems. To be able to communicate in professional and scientific circles in national and foreign languages. To be able to plan and carry out informational, methodical, material, financial and personnel support of the organization (unit). The ability to develop a design algorithm for logistics systems of various integration levels; predict and model the activity of logistics systems and individual subsystems. Conveying to specialists and non-specialists information, ideas, problems, solutions and own experience in the field of professional activity. Ability to effectively form a communication strategy. Management of complex actions or projects, responsibility for decision-making in unpredictable conditions. Responsibility for the professional development of individuals and/or groups of individuals, the ability to further study with a high level of autonomy.

Summary of the subject: Methodology for logistics solutions design. Criteria for logistics solutions optimization and optimization and decision-making. Methods of logistics solutions reasoning. Optimal placement of logistics infrastructure objects. Using the theory of graphs and networks to solve logistical problems. Costing in the of logistics solutions resoning. Simulation of logistics systems. Expert methods of logistics solutions study. Optimization of resource allocation in the logistics system. Models of interbranch balances and their use and optimization of material flows. Tools for development and optimization of logistics solutions.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Current control (30%): accomplishment and defence of laboratory work; • Final assessment (70% of exam): semester control.
