Learning outcomes: ? establish the key conceptual apparatus of the course; to present the journalistic spectrum of concepts journalistic investigation - the grounds for conducting a journal - methods of collecting material - the legal basis of the investigative journalist - ethical standards in the work of the investigative journalist - genre implementation of the collected material, to establish their connections, to outline the features;
? study the genesis of the genre and trace its chronology from the XX to the XXI century;
? to find out the genre typology (according to domestic and foreign works), features, representatives, etc .;
?consider the stages of collection and processing of material and trace the transformation of zh.r.; explore the combination of stages of work: collecting material - processing - working with experts - publication; learning by example; discussion of the specifics of the author's styles and methods of paradoxical thinking; analysis of the most famous journalistic investigations;
? to consider and analyze journalistic investigations and authorial styles in different types of media: on radio (Venediktov) on television (M. Nayem), online (S. Leshchenko) and Ukrainian periodicals (at the student's choice).
? to get acquainted with the phenomenon of journalistic investigation, built on the results of work "crowd sourcing" (crowd sourcing - team work) on the example of Wiki technology.

Summary of the subject: The emergence of journalistic investigation as a type of journalistic activity. Genre of investigative journalism: definitions, typology, features. Choice of the topic of journalistic investigation, strategy and tactics of implementation. Working with sources of information. Features of journalistic investigations for the print media. Features of investigative journalism for electronic media (radio and TV). Investigative journalism on the Internet. Problems of observance of legal and ethical norms during journalistic investigation
