Learning outcomes: Formation of the modern understanding of technological processes and its environmental impact, using skills of constructing sewage networks based on knowledge of the singular hydrodynamic, thermal, mass transfer processes, which form the basis of man-made technology for liquid and gas emissions.
Required prior and related subjects: physics, high math, physical chemistry
Summary of the subject: The hydraulic machines for supplying polluted environment. The separation of gas and liquid heterogeneous systems. Thermal installations. Mass transfer devices for treating polluted environment (absorption, adsorption, rectification, liquid extraction, adsorption, ion exchange, dissolution, extraction, crystallization, drying, membrane processes). Methods of calculating water treatment devices.
Assessment methods and criteria: - The current control (30%) – workshops (10%) , cash and graphics work (20%); - The final control (70%) is a credit.
