Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education:
general competences:
• Ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems of geodesy and land management using modern technologies, theoretical provisions and methods of researching the physical surface of the Earth, its shape, dimensions and gravitational field, carrying out measurements on the earth's surface to display it on plans and maps, for solving various scientific and practical tasks.
• Ability to learn and master modern knowledge.
• Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations.
• Ability to work autonomously.
professional competences:
• The ability to apply fundamental knowledge for the analysis of phenomena of natural and man-made origin when performing professional tasks in the field of geodesy and land management.
• Ability to apply theories, principles, methods of physical and mathematical, natural, social and economic, engineering sciences when performing tasks of geodesy and land management.
Learning outcomes: • Convey information, ideas, problems, solutions, own experience and arguments to specialists and non-specialists.
• Apply conceptual knowledge of natural and socio-economic sciences when performing tasks of geodesy and land management.
• Collect, evaluate, interpret and use geospatial data, metadata about objects of natural and man-made origin, apply statistical methods of their analysis to solve specialized problems in the field of geodesy and land management.
• Develop and make effective decisions regarding professional activity in the field of geodesy and land management, including under conditions of uncertainty.

Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Higher Mathematics" includes and provides for the study of the basic principles and tools of the mathematical apparatus of such basic sections of mathematics as linear algebra and analytical geometry, differential and integral calculus of functions of one and several variables, the theory of numerical and functional series, the basics of the theory of ordinary differential equations, used in the field of architecture and construction.

Assessment methods and criteria: Oral, individual, combined and face-to-face examination in practical classes; checking of intermediate written works; assessment of activity, submitted proposals, original decisions, clarifications and definitions; homework protection; final test check.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • Work in practical classes, oral, combined and face-to-face examination, control papers (30%).
• Final control (exam): written and oral form (70%).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
