Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education:

The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems of geodesy and land management using modern technologies, theoretical provisions and methods of researching the physical surface of the Earth, its shape, dimensions and gravitational field, carrying out measurements on the Earth's surface to display it on plans and maps, for developing solving various scientific and practical tasks.

1. Knowledge and understanding of basic theories, methods, principles, technologies and methods in the field of geoinformatics;
2. Development of geo-information support projects and programs, organization and planning of geo-information systems and databases;
3. Production of special and commercial geo-information products for cartographic production and other areas as a tool for analysis and decision-making support;
4. Operational mapping, creation of animations, virtual models in multimedia modeling;
5. Use methods and algorithms of digital processing of aerospace images to improve their interpretation capabilities;
Learning outcomes:
As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes:
1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic theories, methods, technologies, principles of work organization and regulatory documents in the field of geoinformatics;
2. Develop projects and programs of geo-information support, organization and planning of geo-information systems and databases;
3. To possess the technology of production of geo-informational products of special and commercial purpose for cartographic production and for other spheres as a tool of analysis and decision-making support;
4. Perform operational mapping, creation of animations, virtual models in multimedia modeling;

Summary of the subject: Basics of programming in C ++. The concept of algorithm. Types of algorithms. The concept of programming languages. Data types. Variables. Syntax in C ++. Basic constructions of C ++ programming language. Operators (logical, ternary, conditional). Cycles. One-dimensional and multidimensional arrays for storing geodata.
Using arrays to store geodata. Creating functions for processing geomatics data. Working with spatial data files. Data structures.
Опис: In the course "Software for geomatics problems", students study the use of programming languages ??to solve geomatics problems.
During the processing of spatial data (for example, in the form of sets of coordinates of points), separate problems arise that cannot always be solved by standard tools of specialized software products. In the course, students study the basics of procedural and functional programming for solving geomatics problems.
Downloading data from files and storing them in the form of multidimensional arrays of structures, working with data and saving them in text or binary format, and methods of improving digital aerospace images are considered.
Assessment methods and criteria: To assess the level of achievement of learning outcomes, a control method is used, which is based on the positive principle, which involves taking into account the level of the student's achievements. The object of evaluation is knowledge, abilities and skills, experience of creative activity. Controlling, educational, diagnostic-corrective, stimulating-motivational and educational functions are included in the main functions of assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes. The elements of control are the system of requirements and rules, types of control, the content of different types of control, criteria of the stobal evaluation system. Types of control are divided into written reports on laboratory work and their protection; oral individual, combined and frontal survey; participation in business games on the topic of laboratory classes, performance and defense of control work; performance of intermediate test tasks.

The procedure and criteria for issuing points and evaluations are determined according to the "Standard for ensuring the quality of educational activities and higher education of SVO LP 03.09. Regulations on the organization and implementation of semester control of students' learning results"
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
