Semester: 1 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Мета вивчення дисципліни: The aim of teaching the discipline is to highlight the basic concepts and approaches to information collection, digital aerospace image processing and spatial data management that can be used in practice, in particular for solving thematic problems in the field of geographic information systems and technologies. Be able to analyse literary sources. Understand the features of aerial and space imagery. Understand the principles of monitoring of objects, processes and phenomena of the earth's surface.
Завдання: The study of the discipline involves the formation of the necessary competences in students: Special (professional) competences: SC03. Ability to effectively apply theories, principles and technologies of mathematics, natural, technical, social, economic sciences in solving complex problems of geodesy and land management.
Learning outcomes: RN11. To perform a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the state of geodesy and land management objects and to assess the consequences of the implementation of practical measures.
Required prior and related subjects: Geodesy in nature management Land management design Professional and civil security
Summary of the subject: The discipline studies approaches to aerospace information collection and spatial data management for solving various thematic tasks. The main tasks, which are considered in more detail in the course, are: obtaining data about the state of the atmosphere and taking into account its influence on the image; the use of vegetation indices to study the state of vegetation; the study of the state of forests and soils based on the materials of the RS and the creation of a thematic map of forests; the study of the channel processes of rivers by means of the RS and GIS technologies; research of seas and oceans according to RS data; use of data from laser scanning of the terrain in hydrographic studies; interferometry and its application for emergency monitoring.
Опис: Basic approaches to information collection and spatial data management. Accounting for the influence of the atmosphere on satellite images. Using vegetation indices for effective image interpretation. Investigation of the forest condition using remote sensing data. Riverbed processes and their research using remote sensing data. Research of seas and oceans using remote sensing data. Using laser imaging systems to create a high-precision DEM in hydrographic research. Radar surveying.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control is carried out in the form of an oral survey during the defense of laboratory, control and calculation-graphic works. Semester control is provided in the form of a written component with a theoretical and practical component and an oral component.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control: Laboratory work 1 - 15 points, Laboratory work 2 - 15 points, WGW - 10 points. Examination control: Written component - 50 points, oral component - 10 points. Total for the discipline - 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - ("excellent") is assigned for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyse the phenomena studied in their interconnection and development, clearly, concisely, logically, consistently answer the questions posed, the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 87-71 marks - ("good") is given for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 70 - 50 points - ("satisfactory") is assigned for poor knowledge of the educational material of the component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for poor application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the component's educational material, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate in solving practical problems, ignorance of the basic fundamental provisions.
