Learning outcomes: - to develop measures to manage the demand for transport services; - to model passenger correspondence in cities; - to design and analyze the route network of the city; - to model the distribution of passenger traffic in the city in the PTV VISION VISUM software. - to introduce new modes of transport and a smart system of urban passenger transport.

Summary of the subject: Analysis of the city transport system. Impacts on the transport system. Methods of analysis. Demand management for transport services. Models of transport demand and their types. Models of distribution of passenger flows by a network. Models of influence and resistance functions. Discrete choice models. Demand-based demand models. Moving mode selection models. Traffic path models. Correspondence matrices and methods of their calculation. Analysis of the route network of public transport by methods of graph theory and complex networks. Criteria for the efficiency of the urban transport network. New types of public transport. Smart public transport. Introduction of a smart system of passenger transport in the city. Public transport of the future.
Assessment methods and criteria: • writing reports practical work, oral examination (30%) • final control (70% control measure, exam), written-oral form (70%)

Learning outcomes: - be able to analyze the territory of passage of public transport routes; - be able to analyze the existing indicators of the public transport route; - build a flow chart of passenger traffic on the route; - to determine the feasibility of coordination on common sections of routes; - schedule buses on the route.

Summary of the subject: The topic of course paper: Coordination of two public transport routes that have a common section. Structure of course paper: Introduction. Chapter 1. General characteristics of the studied routes. Chapter 2. Analysis of passenger flows on the studied routes. Chapter 3. Coordinate bus operation on routes. Conclusions. References. Graphical part.
Assessment methods and criteria: • The report consisting of the explanatory notes and is defended orally (100%, credit).
