Мета вивчення дисципліни: The goal of the course is to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the design, operation, maintenance, and modernization of equipment used in the oil and gas industry.

Learning outcomes: RN3. Analyze and develop elements of technological schemes and technical devices of well drilling, production, transportation and storage systems of oil and gas. RN9. Apply basic concepts and methods of fundamental and applied sciences to solve specialized problems in oil and gas engineering. RN13. Analyze the operating conditions of the constituent elements of oil and gas technical complexes, make the optimal selection of technological equipment and optimize the operating mode according to certain criteria, including under conditions of uncertainty. RN16. Plan and organize the work of a structural unit of an oil and gas enterprise in accordance with the requirements of life safety, labor protection and environmental protection. RN17. Communicate information, ideas, problems, solutions, own experience and arguments on oil and gas engineering and related problems to specialists and non-specialists. RN18. Organize and manage the professional development of individuals and groups in the field of oil and gas engineering. Zn1. Summary of the subject: During the study of the discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge of the basics of the oil and gas business. The student will gain knowledge of the use of oil and gas equipment and the prospects for its exploration, which is used in drilling oil and gas wells; development of oil and gas fields; collection of oil and gas in fields and their industrial preparation; transportation of oil and gas and processing.

Assessment methods and criteria: In the process of current and semester controls, the following methods of monitoring the learning outcomes of students are used: oral interview; written interview; practical test; standardized control. Frontal oral interview is carried out in laboratory classes. Individual oral interview takes place in laboratory classes and also during the semester exam. Written interview is used when checking the independent work of students, calculation works, homework, semester exam. Practical testing of students' knowledge takes place during laboratory work, during which the formation of skills to work with devices, make measurements, perform calculations, analyze the results obtained, draw conclusions, and draw up a report on the work performed is revealed. In standardized control, a test methodology with alternative choice of answers is used. Test tasks are used in examination papers and when monitoring the independent work of students.
