Мета вивчення дисципліни: To study the system of international economic relations, objective laws and principles of their development, to gain knowledge about the conditions, methods and basic tools of international economic interaction, as well as to develop the skills and abilities to analyze the foreign economic policy of Ukraine in the process of its integration into modern world economic structures.
Завдання: Integral competence: the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations in general and international economic relations, in particular, as well as in the learning process, which involves the application of the latest theories and methods in the implementation of complex studies of global economic relations, is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions. general competences: ZK 8. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. ZK 12. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. professional competences: SC 2. The ability to use basic categories and the latest theories, concepts, technologies and methods in the field of international economic relations, taking into account their main forms, to apply theoretical knowledge about the functioning and development of international economic relations. SK 4. The ability to substantiate the peculiarities of the implementation of forms of international economic relations at the mega-, macro-, meso- and micro-levels. SK 6. Ability to analyze international markets of goods and services, tools and principles of regulation of international trade. SC 13. Ability to evaluate and analyze the security component in international economic relations. SK 14. The ability to communicate on a professional and social level using professional terminology, including oral and written communication in national and foreign languages.
Learning outcomes: RN 1. To treat professional self-improvement responsibly, realizing the need for lifelong learning, to show tolerance and readiness for innovative changes. RN 4. To systematize and organize the received information on processes and phenomena in the world economy; assess and explain the impact of endogenous and exogenous factors on them; formulate conclusions and develop recommendations taking into account the peculiarities of the national and international environment. RN 7. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and meaningfully interpret the results. RN 14. Understand and apply theories, principles, tools and instruments for the implementation of international monetary, financial and credit relations. RN 24. To substantiate the choice and apply information and analytical tools, economic and statistical calculation methods, complex analysis techniques and methods of monitoring world markets. Zn1. Conceptual knowledge acquired in the process of learning and professional activity, including certain knowledge of modern achievements. Um1. Solving complex unforeseen tasks and problems in specialized areas of professional activity and / or training, which involves the collection and interpretation of information (data), the choice of methods and tools, the use of innovative approaches. Summary of the subject: The study of the discipline "International Economy" involves an overview of the main forms and types of relations between countries and the study of theoretical concepts of the development of the global economy, including classical, neoclassical and alternative theories of international trade, international economic statistics, national accounts, etc.

Currency value and exchange rate. Topic 5. Exchange rate theories. Topic 6. Balance of payments. Topic 7. International financial markets. Topic 8. Macroeconomic equilibrium models of an open economy. Topic 9. Monitoring and regulation of the international economy. Topic 10. Macroeconomic programming of an open economy.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1) current control (30%), independent work, individual assignments, oral interviews; 2) the final assessment (70%), testing (50%), oral answer (20%).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: ? performance of control (individual) works and practical tasks - 25 points; ? presentation of results and defense of control papers – 5 points; ? examination paper – 70 points (40 points – written and/or test components, 30 points – oral component). ? the final semester grade on a 100-point scale is converted into a state grade in accordance with the system adopted at the University
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49–26 points – (“not certified” with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is given for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
