Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the specialist must: be able to plan and manage time, communicate in the state language both orally and in writing, assess and analyze the security component in international economic relations, constantly improve theoretical knowledge, generate and effectively use them in practice, to analyze the peculiarities of the development of international investment and innovation activities, the structure of the world financial market, approaches to the management of the international innovation process; use the acquired knowledge to analyze the peculiarities of the organization of trade in financial instruments in different national markets and the European market; understand the features of accounting, taxation and international insurance in the field of investment and innovation. the student must: plan, organize, motivate, evaluate and improve
the effectiveness of collective work, to conduct research in a group under the leadership of a leader, taking into account the requirements and features of today in a limited time, to study economic phenomena and processes in the international sphere based on understanding categories, laws; highlighting and summarizing
trends, patterns of functioning and development of the world

Summary of the subject: The educational discipline is devoted to the study of issues of the definition and designation of securities, securities markets and their classification, types of securities, the concept of issuer and investor of securities, classification of securities, designation and designation of shares, types of share prices, classification of shares, dividends, position indicators specific share on the stock market, rating of preferred shares according to Moody's, Standard & Poor's, Dominion Bond Rating Service, Canadian Bond Rating Service, classification of shares by purpose, other types of shares, definition and purpose of bonds, classification bonds by maturity, by the method of payment of coupon income and by the method of security, assessment of the quality of bonds according to the methods of Moody's, Standard and Poor's, Dominion Bond Rating Service, Canadian Bond Rating Service, corporate, state and municipal bonds, promissory notes, certificates of deposit, methods of determining income from certificates of deposit, definition of option and reasons for its use, investors and issuers of options, underlying assets of the option, option exercise price, types of options, indices of business activity of stock and commodity exchanges, purpose of indices of business activity, Dow Jones index (history of its origin and methods of calculation), conclusion of options on stock indices .

Assessment methods and criteria: - Current control (30%): oral questioning, work in the practice, performance of calculation and graphic work;
- Final control (70%): semester control (written and oral component)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • work in laboratory classes is the solution of problems, situational exercises, cases - 20 points, survey, testing - 10 points, together - 30 points; The final semester grade on a 100-point scale is converted into a state grade in accordance with the system adopted at the University:
• 88-100 points – "excellent";
• 71-87 points – "good";
• 50-70 points – "satisfactory";
• 0-49 points – "not satisfactory".
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: The grade "excellent" (88-100 points) is awarded for complete, systematized knowledge. The student must correctly answer the assigned tasks and solve the practical tasks, minor mechanical errors are allowed that do not significantly distort the overall result of the practical tasks.
• The grade "good" (71-87 points) assumes that, in general, having mastered the material, the student answers most of the tasks correctly and makes minor inaccuracies and individual errors when solving practical problems.
• A grade of "satisfactory" (50-70 points) is assigned to a student who has significant deficiencies in solving the assigned tasks and has gaps in practical knowledge, but tried to solve problems where he could have made mistakes.
• The grade "unsatisfactory" (less than 50 points) is given to a student who does not understand the essence of the questions, does not know the basic concepts of the subject and did not answer them correctly.
