Мета вивчення дисципліни: The formation of students' knowledge system and practical skills that are necessary for decision-making in investment projects financing
Завдання: The studying of the academic discipline involves the formation of the following competencies: integral competence: the ability to identify and solve complex economic tasks and problems, to make appropriate analytical and managerial decisions in the field of economics or in the learning process, which involves conducting research and/or implementing innovations under uncertain conditions and requirements. general competencies: GC4. The ability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups of different levels (with experts from other fields of knowledge/types of economic activity); GC7. The ability to act on the basis of ethical considerations (motives). professional competencies: PC11. The ability to plan and develop projects in the field of economy, to implement its informational, methodical, material, financial and personnel support; PCS 1.3. The ability to develop proposals and justify decisions regarding project financing.
Learning outcomes: As a result of the study of the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning results: PRS4. Develop socio-economic projects and a system of complex actions for their implementation, taking into account their goals, expected socio-economic consequences, risks, legislative, resource and other restrictions. PRS15. Organize the development and implementation of socio-economic projects, taking into account informational, methodical, material, financial, and personnel support. PRSS1.3. Develop development scenarios and project financing models, justify project financing options, and form project financial budgets. COM1. Conveying to specialists and non-specialists information, ideas, problems, solutions, and own experience in the field of professional activity

Summary of the subject: The studying of the discipline is aimed at the formation of a students' knowledge system in the field of project financing; acquiring the skills necessary to analyze the services of financial institutions used in project financing and to make decisions regarding the justification and selection of an investment project financing option
Опис: The essence and classification of project financing. Capital budgeting. Types of investment projects financing. Justification of the project financing option. Planning of financial flows and project balance. Financial institutions’ participation form in project financing.
Assessment methods and criteria: Control work (50 %), control test (50 %) Current control 50 points (control work - 50 points), control testing 50 points (written component 40 points, oral component 10 points)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control: evaluation of the performance and defense of individual calculation (control) works (correctness of calculations, the correctness of conclusions and recommendations; correctness, completeness, and conciseness of the answer during the defense of the work). Examination control: assessment of written and oral components
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions
