Мета вивчення дисципліни: Mastering fundamental knowledge of current conflict management issues. Acquiring the professional ability to resolve conflicts in business and professional spheres, international relations, private life. In order to achieve peace and harmony in the world as a whole, it is necessary first of all to learn the skill of conflict management, in particular in private life and in the team.
Завдання: The tasks of studying the discipline "Conflict Management" are: - understanding the essence and features of conflicts, as well as the management process conflicts; - mastering the essence of various types of conflicts; - studying the peculiarities of sociological and psychological theories of study conflicts; - understanding the causes of conflicts; - study of the main stages and phases of the conflict; - familiarization with the main methods of diagnosis and forecasting conflicts; - understanding the characteristics of human behavior styles in a conflict situation; - formation of management and conflict prevention skills.
Learning outcomes: 1. Knowledge: to know the object and subject of conflictology; the essence of the conflict and its structure; dynamics and causes of conflict; types of conflicts in society and their features; peculiarities of intra-personal, interpersonal and intergroup conflicts; psychological features of the mechanism of occurrence conflicts; theories of personality behavior in conflict; management technologies conflicts; psychological conditions for conflict prevention and resolution. 2. Ability: to evaluate the place of conflictology in the system of special sciences about a person; use technologies of effective communication and rational behavior in conflict; to reveal the mechanism and causes of social conflicts; determine the stages of the conflict in order to further it its solution; recognize intra-personal conflict; detect the main stages of the negotiation process; determine ways to resolve conflicts in management; use the knowledge gained for prevention and conflict regulation. 3. Communication: use the acquired knowledge when conducting scientific research discussions on conflict studies; show respect for diverse national and ethnic communities, to cooperate with the bearers of various historical, political, religious, cultural, family and personal values; create conditions for communication with representatives of different strata of the population. 4. Autonomy and responsibility: to carry out individual research tasks on relevant issues, to show independence and social responsibility, civic and patriotic virtues in performance functional duties.

Summary of the subject: The study discipline "Management of conflicts" will be useful for students of all specialties, especially for those who seek to achieve success in their own careers and effectively manage their subordinates. The activity of modern organizations shows the need for the formation of competences, knowledge and skills in the field of management, diagnosis, prevention and forecasting of conflicts.With the development of market conditions and the introduction of competitive relations in Ukraine, these issues are gaining more and more importance, since competition is a variant of a conflict situation, which under certain conditions turns into a conflict. Therefore, at the stage of reforming national higher education, the issue of introducing the discipline "Conflict Management" into the system of training specialists of all specialties becomes of practical importance.Competencies that are formed are not only cognitive and theoretical, but purely practical: to help people understand what to do in a conflict situation. It is impossible to avoid conflicts and their consequences, that is why there is a need to get acquainted with their essence, dynamics, experience of resolution, forecasting and prevention.The knowledge that an individual can acquire by studying the discipline of "Conflict Management" will increase his professional and intellectual competence, and their skillful use in practice will really prove the professional skill of the specialist and the individual.In the system of training specialists, the discipline "Management of conflicts" considers aspects of determining a person's suitability for managerial activity; studies the causes and consequences of the conflict; reveals the content of conflict functions; significant attention is paid to the relationships and communication of people when performing joint tasks, studying the methods of forecasting, diagnosing and preventing conflicts, generating and finding new ideas for conflict management, creating a conflict management system in the organization and determining the effectiveness of conflict management.

Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Current control (45%): - assessment of knowledge in practical classes (performance of situational tasks; participation in discussions; control testing); - evaluation of the performance and defense of individual calculation (control) works (correctness of calculations, correctness of conclusions and recommendations; correctness, completeness and brevity of the answer during the defense of the work). 2. Examination control (55%): assessment of written and oral components.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current and examination control. Knowledge assessment methods: selective oral survey; performances at practical classes; tests; assessment of activity, submitted proposals, original ideas and solutions, clarifications, additions, definitions, etc. Exam - written survey, test control, oral survey.
