Pedagogical control is considered as the main link that ensures the continuity of the process of upbringing, education and professional training and has four priority functions: diagnostic, educational, organizational and educational. In the understanding of the constant interaction of a scientific-pedagogical worker with an Ossetian, during the educational process, pedagogical control is a system of checking the results of the quality of learning the educational material and professional training in the educational discipline "Actual problems of criminal law and process (judicial practice)" and means identifying, measuring and evaluating the knowledge, abilities and skills of those who study.
The main evaluation platform is the obtained learning results in the form of abilities and skills, as well as the results of education in the form of formed worldview instructions and positions, interests, motives and needs of the individual.
Diagnostic tools determine the level of achievement of the planned educational results in the discipline, must have transparent evaluation criteria, provide objective current and final control.
During control pedagogical measures, a system of objective assessment of knowledge, skills and abilities is used, in particular, with the use of electronic technical means. Test tasks from the educational discipline "Actual problems of criminal law and process (judicial practice)" - for intermediate and final knowledge control of students, are components of educational and methodological complexes of educational disciplines and are included in packages of qualification tasks from the discipline.
For the educational discipline "Actual problems of criminal law and process (judicial practice)", the means of knowledge diagnosis (study success) are: conducting preliminary and current knowledge control of students of education.
Preliminary control is a diagnosis of the input level of knowledge, which makes it possible to determine the existing level of knowledge of education seekers at the beginning of studying a discipline or at the beginning of studying a specific topic. A form of preliminary control is input control of knowledge. It is conducted at the first seminar session with the aim of assessing the residual knowledge of education seekers, obtained during the study of the cycle of disciplines at previous levels of education. Preliminary control in the form of verification and assessment of residual knowledge is also carried out after some time at the beginning of the next seminar class. The input control of knowledge is carried out in the form of written work on the definition of certain concepts, categories or procedural and legal phenomena within 10-15 minutes at the beginning of the class.
The evaluation of the entrance control of the knowledge of education seekers is included in the evaluation for a seminar or practical session.
Current control of knowledge is an organic part of the entire educational process and serves as a means of identifying the degree of perception (assimilation) of educational material from the discipline.
Assessment of the knowledge of students based on the data of current knowledge control is carried out by monitoring the activity of work during the study of the program material of the discipline, including answers to seminar classes, preparation of reports, messages and analytical materials, etc.;
Current monitoring of seminar classes is carried out with the aim of clarifying the readiness of education seekers for classes in the following forms:
- frontal standardized oral survey of education seekers on the main problems of the seminar;
- frontal check of homework; challenging individual students to independently solve practical tasks or situations;
- blitz - a survey, which is either a continuous survey of all present education seekers or a selective survey of a part of those present. Problems on the topic (several topics) that were prepared for the seminar require a clear, short answer. In a blitz survey, each student has the right to answer only once;
- other.
The independent and individual work of education seekers involves a purposeful search for effective methods of studying the discipline, a conscious attitude and consistency in work, the ability to use the available literature and regulatory framework, and plan one's own work.
The final control of students' level of knowledge is a differentiated assessment, the results of which are displayed based on the total number of points for all types of work provided during the semester.
