Characteristics of the educational program: Training the Master combines the compulsory (the basis of research and of science organization, pedagogy and teaching methodology in high school) and selective subjects of humanitarian and socio-economic training with advanced studying the courses of professional training ( verification of measuring instruments, theory and the experimental appliances, metrological support of production, professional and civil safety), courses of other educational programs on student’s free choice, This makes it possible to prepare professionals to address a number of urgent tasks in automation and instrumentation, which provides for traceability, development, implementation and operation of information-measuring devices, facilities and systems.
Gained competence: - ability of mastering the basics of object-oriented programming and metrological verification of measurement means software; - ability to solve the applied problems of metrology on the basis of implementing the modern measurement methods; - ability to develop a mathematical model of measuring instrument and estimate its total uncertainty as well as the ability to synthesize structural and basic schemes of measuring instrument; - ability to apply modern software for processing and analyzing the measurement results; - availability of basic knowledge about cyber-physical systems, their operation and metrological specificity.
- ability to provide an adequate technological level of manufacturing the measuring instruments, computing and optimizing their parameter; - ability to examine the components of electronic devices by computer modeling aiming their improvement; - ability to assess the metrological characteristics (in error and uncertainty approaches) of results of measuring instruments; - ability to practice the basic principles of information-measuring complexes and systems. - ability to apply mathematical theory of organization and planning of the experiment, to develop plans for research, to choose algorithms of measurement data processing, and apply necessary software to automate calculations.
- ability considering specific conditions and chosen plan of study to choose or design the necessary equipment; - ability of using modern methods and software research to develop working hypotheses, build a theoretical model object of research and justify assumptions; - ability to plan and implement metrological provision of Information-measuring systems in all stages of their life cycle; - ability to develop measurement procedures with the use of information and measuring systems, including the use of modern experimental research.
