Learning outcomes: Know the basic principles of designing measuring instruments. To be able to develop a technical task for measuring devices. Be able to perform computational and graphic design work of information, microprocessor modules and systems; evaluate the metrological characteristics of the designed nodes and measuring devices as a whole. Know how to develop methods of conducting experiments and conduct experiments on working models and samples of microprocessor devices, process results using modern information technologies and technical means;

Summary of the subject: The current stage of scientific and technical progress is characterized by an intensive increase in interest in measurements. The growing interest in measurements is due to the fact that they play an increasingly significant and sometimes decisive role in solving both fundamental problems of knowledge and practical problems of scientific and technical progress, social problems, and increase the effectiveness of all socially useful activities.Measurement is the main process of obtaining objective information about the properties of various material objects related to practical human activity. Measuring devices and systems from research laboratories have long penetrated many areas of human activity, primarily industry and transport. Therefore, "Designing measuring devices" as an educational discipline is included in the education plans of students of various technical specialties. Future specialists in these areas of knowledge to one degree or another also study the basics of designing devices and systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control of students' knowledge during classes; holding a semester assessment; holding a semester exam
