Characteristics of the educational program: Educational and vocational training program is based on the known positions and results of modern research in applied physics and application of nanomaterials and focuses on current specializations, in which possible future professional and academic career.
Gained competence: - knowledge of the physical nature of the phenomena of the surrounding world, physical properties of substances in different aggregate states, the influence of the environment on the processes and state of complex systems; - knowledge of the theoretical description of properties and processes occurring in the matter, building adequate models and predicting the behavior of various physical objects; - knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of the main technological methods of obtaining and processing substances to ensure the desired properties of materials and products; - knowledge of basic programming languages, numerical methods for solving problems of research and technological nature; - knowledge of methods, software tools for computer design, modeling and calculation of physical properties and technological processes in the obtaining, processing and modification of materials; - knowledge of ecological factors to assess the harmful effects of the selected technologies and materials; - knowledge of basic methods of mathematical calculations and analysis, solving problems and obtaining analytical dependencies and numerical values; - knowledge of the technical characteristics of standard and non-standard measuring systems, knowledge of the methods of setting up a physical experiment; - understanding the impact of technological advances in nanomaterials science and non-traditional energy in the community, economic, social and environmental context; - knowledge of the main methods of reducing energy consumption and the feasibility of using non-conventional energy sources in the developed technological schemes and structures; - knowledge of computer technologies for automation and management of physical research, knowledge of microprocessor technology for automation of physical measurements; - knowledge of the theory and practice of nano-objects application in various fields of instrumentation and energy.
- to apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve problems of applied physics and nanomaterials science; - to apply knowledge and acquired skills to solve qualitative and quantitative problems when performing work on research topics and in real production conditions; - to improve the knowledge in applied physics and related sciences, to be prepared to change the scientific and scientific and production profile of professional activities; - to obtain knowledge with the help of information technology, to use in practice new knowledge directly related to the sphere of professional activity, to expand and deepen their scientific outlook; - to give a qualitative physical interpretation of the results of experimental measurements on the basis of physical laws and known facts; - to determine the place of the studied phenomena and physical objects in the system of knowledge of this field of applied physics, to evaluate their scientific innovation; - to evaluate and to interpret the initial data for the synthesis of new materials and products, technological processes; - to assess technical, economic and environmental consequences of the use of certain substances and materials, technological means that provide the necessary quality indicators - to work on modern computer equipment and use specialized software for designing, modeling and calculating the main physical properties of the studied objects and technological modes; - independently perform physical and technical scientific research to optimize the parameters of objects and processes using standard and specially designed tools and software; - to evaluate the mechanical, technological, physical properties, structure and phase composition of the studied or obtained substances and materials using modern technical means and methods; - to present research results in the form of reports, abstracts, publications and presentations; - to formulate the basic requirements for structural support, compatibility of active and inactive components of the device, conditions of chemical and electrochemical stability of the elements of the housing base, principles of compaction and sealing, schematic diagrams of the design solution that provide the highest efficiency of the active subsystem of the device; - to use current standards and regulations in practice; - to use primary sources of scientific and cultural achievements of the world civilization; - to take into account the processes of the social and political history of Ukraine, legal principles and ethical norms in production and social activities.
- the communication skill, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Polish, Italian, French or Spanish); - the ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technology for effective communication at the professional and social levels.
