Learning outcomes: to know the physical processes that are the basis of the technology development of materials or devices, and the prospects for their further application;
to possess the skills for proved choose of methods and technologies to create new elements and structures;
to understand the influence of external factors and conditions on functional materials;
to know the modern physical and mathematical methods and artificial intelligence to solve professional problems;
to possess the ability to make practical recommendations on the use of the results, present the results of research in the form of reports, papers, publications and presentations;
to have the skills for analysis of different methods of nano-object formation based on scientifically proven choice of the most suitable technology;
to possess the research skills of modern nano-objects, new components, carbon nanomaterials studies by means of modern research methods.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Modern Methods of Physical Research; Solid State Physics; Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Physics and Thermodynamics; The Foundations of Modern Energy; Physics of Quantum-Sized Systems; Liquid State Physics; Nanomaterial Science; Impedance Spectroscopy; Physical Basis of Energy and Resources; Computer Modeling of Physical Processes; Science Research Practical; Physics and Technology of Nanosystems; Functional Molecular Materials Energetics;
Corequisites: Implementation of Master Thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria: Graded credit based on written report and oral report with prepared PowerPoint presentation.
