Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and professional masters program in the specialty “Management of innovation activity” is based on the fundamental postulates and results of present-day research in the area of managing the innovative development of the organization, creative management and marketing of innovations, economics of innovative activities, its controlling and risk management, organization of activities of ensuring innovations for the competitiveness of the organization, designing innovative products and modeling innovative business processes for different kinds of economic activities and their organization. Masters in the specialty “Management of innovation activity” receive a set of knowledge, abilities and skills sufficient to manage entities of innovative activities, their sub-divisions, a wide range of processes and operations in innovative activities.
Gained competence: - ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of fundamentals and present-day trends in the development of strategic, project and financial management;
- ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in the area of the formation and development of a business career and professional ethics.
- ability to communicate in Ukrainian and foreign languages with wide profession society in oral and written ways using modern information and communication technologies;
- ability to integrate and use the obtained theoretical knowledge on practice to solve management problems in the innovation activity sphere;
- ability to plan, organize, control and regulate foreign economic activity at all levels of the economy, to use modern mechanisms of staff motivation in the innovation activity sphere;
- ability to explore markets, to provide comparative and analytical monitoring of competitors, to mobilize the possibilities for improving the quality and competitiveness of innovative products and enterprise (organization, institution) in domestic, foreign markets and in a virtual environment;
- аbility to use the basic components of creativity in innovation activity of enterprise (organization, institution), to apply modern methods of generating innovative ideas, to form creative environment and to implement modern mechanisms to motivate creative potential of the innovation process participants;
- ability to identify the costs of innovation activity using accounting, tax and management approaches, to group them according to various criteria, to use modern methods of costing and price determination of the innovative products;
- аbility to use balance scorecard, modern controlling methods and technologies in management of innovation activity of the enterprise (organization, institution);
- ability to combine different economic and mathematical methods and models for analyzing and evaluating the risks of innovation, management decisions and to develop measures to reduce their impact on the effectiveness of innovative projects.
- ability to adapt to the new situations and to make the appropriate decisions;
- ability to produce creative ideas, to develop and to manage innovative projects, individually and collectively perform professional tasks;
- ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of professional-oriented courses of the economy and innovative support of enterprises (organizations) competitiveness, their innovative development management, innovative business processes design and modeling, innovative enterprise (organization) management, innovation activity controlling, creative management, marketing innovation, risk management optimization;
- ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of classical and modern approaches of management of innovative activity, principles, laws, technologies, management methods, methods of decision-making, leadership and management styles, and conflict resolution in scientific and technical cooperation.
