Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline "Simulation methods of engineering analysis of the functioning and manufacture of mechanical engineering products" is to provide graduate students with knowledge of the use of modern computer modeling methods for the study of system processes of manufacturing and operation of mechanical engineering products
Завдання: As a result of studying the discipline "Simulation methods of engineering analysis of the functioning and manufacture of mechanical engineering products", the graduate student must learn to apply modern computer modeling methods that provide: - building an adequate computer model of the system or the studied process of functioning and manufacturing of mechanical engineering products; - planning and analysis of a computer experiment; - reasonable choice of simulation modeling method; - interpret and analyze the results of computer modeling
Learning outcomes: As a result of the study of discipline "Simulation methods of engineering analysis of functioning and manufacturing of products of mechanical engineering" Postgraduate student must learn modern methods of computer simulation, providing: constructing an adequate computer model of the system or the process of functioning and manufacturing of mechanical engineering products; planning and analysis of computer experiment; a substantiated choice of method of simulation modeling; interpret and analyze the results of computer simulation

Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Polls and control of the performance of practical works 2. Written and oral components on the exam 3. Control measures are carried out in writing. 4. Examination before the commission postgraduate student is in an oral form with fixation of questions and answers to the examinations
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control: 1. Assessment of mastering the theoretical material is carried out by means of test control (test tasks from the Electronic Educational and Methodological Complex of the Virtual Learning Environment of Lviv Polytechnic National University in the discipline "Simulation methods of engineering analysis of the functioning and manufacture of mechanical engineering products", oral questioning. 2. Defense of reports on practical work in oral form by questioning theoretical material on the topic of work and research methods or in writing by conducting a control measure on the topic of work in the form of a test. Final control: 1. Examination control (exam). The written component consists of three-level theoretical and practical tasks and is conducted in a test form in the Virtual Learning Environment. The oral component is based on the results of the written component for a more thorough assessment of knowledge.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - ("excellent") is assigned for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena studied in their interconnection and development, clearly, concisely, logically, consistently answer the questions posed, the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 87-71 points - ("good") is assigned for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 70 - 50 points - ("satisfactory") is assigned for poor knowledge of the educational material of the component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for poor application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the component's educational material, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the basic fundamental provisions.
