Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline "Intellectual Property" students should be able to determine:
- basic concepts of the system of legal protection of intellectual property;
- components of the international system of intellectual property protection;
- components of the intellectual property system in Ukraine;
- intellectual property in the norms of the general legislation of Ukraine;
- objects of intellectual property rights;
- subjects of intellectual property rights;
- algorithm of legal protection of objects of patent law (inventions, utility models, industrial designs);
- algorithm of legal protection of means of individualization of participants of civil turnover (trademarks, geographical indications, brand names);
- algorithm of legal protection of non-traditional objects of intellectual property (topographies of integrated circuits, plant varieties, trade secrets);
- algorithm of legal protection of industrial property in foreign countries;
- algorithm of legal protection of copyright objects (works of literature and locality);
- rights and obligations of owners of security documents on objects of intellectual property rights;
- the value of the right to intellectual property;
- the fact of violation of the rights of owners of valid security documents and applicants for industrial property;
- procedure for protection of intellectual property rights in case of their violation.

Ability to conduct research at the appropriate level, to have research skills that are manifested in the ability to form (making presentations or presenting reports) new products in the selected field, to choose appropriate areas and appropriate methods for their implementation, taking into account available resources;

Summary of the subject: Intellectual property as a right to the results of human creativity. Intellectual property system. Protection of intellectual property rights. Economics of intellectual property. Protection of intellectual property rights
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control is assessed by two components: the implementation of the abstract according to the requirements (15 points), oral defense of the abstract (15 points).
Credit control includes 2 stages: test control in the environment of ANS (40 points) and oral examination (30 points).
