Learning outcomes: Ability to use methodological approaches to assessing the natural resource potential and its environmentally safe forms of use and reproduction. Knowledge of the basics of profes-sionally oriented disciplines of specialty 192 "Construction and Civil Engineering": engineering networks and structures, research in construction, professional and civil safety, intellectual property, foreign language for professional purposes, economic evaluation of innovative technologies and design solutions in construction, economics and enterprise management. Acquisition of adequate knowledge and understanding related to the specialization "Heat, gas supply and ventilation", the scale of which will be sufficient to successfully organize and conduct research in the field of design, installation and operation of HGSandV systems, to form and represent the results of professional activities.

Summary of the subject: Requirements to central ACS. Structural scheme and classification of central ACS. Categories of design parameters of external climate for ACS. Calculation parameters of internal air for designing ACS. Basic schemes, work and structural features of central ACS. Construction, principle of work and calculation of irrigation chambers of central conditioners. Construction, principle of work and calculation of air heaters of central conditioners. Air filters and its characteristics. Fan units of central ACS. Principle scheme and work of central straight flow ACS, ACS with І recirculation, ACS with І і ІІ recirculation аnd its calculation. Basic scheme and way of work of water vapor-compressor refrigerating machine (RМ) with heat exchanger for heat utilization. Scheme and way of work of thermostatic valve of vapor-compressor RМ. Temperature regime of work of water vapor-compressor RМ with heat exchanger for heat utilization. Representing of process of work of water vapor-compressor RМ on р-і–diagram. Cooling capacity of water vapor-compressor RМ. Recalculation of standard cooling capacity to working one. Scheme and way of work of spray pool and calculation of temperature of water chilled in a spray pool. Scheme and way of work cooling tower.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (laboratory works - 20 points, oral examination - 20 points); final control (60 points, control measure, written and oral form, exam).
