Learning outcomes: Knowledge of the basics of professionally oriented disciplines of specialty 192 "Construction and Civil Engineering": engineering networks and structures, research in construction, professional and civil security, intellectual property, foreign language for professional purposes, economic evaluation of innovative technologies and design solutions in construction, economics and enterprise management. Acquisition of adequate knowledge and understanding related to the specialization "Heat and gas supply and ventilation", the scale of which will be sufficient to successfully organize and conduct research in the field of design, installation and operation of DHW systems, to form and represent the results of professional activities.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous disciplines: Construction thermophysics; Heat and mass transfer; Heating; Heat supply. Related and the following disciplines: Design of heat supply systems; Design of gas supply systems; Design of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Summary of the subject: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must know how heating systems are classified; what equipment is used in these systems; select schemes of local and central heating systems. Basic equipment of water and electric heating systems; defining systems and basic design features; pipeline material. In the process of teaching the discipline "Design of heating systems" is the study of the basics of heating systems, defining their areas of application, sanitary and hygienic indicators, and teaching students to calculate these systems and instill in them the skills in making design documentation on a real basis.
