Learning outcomes: - knowledge of the basic principles of software design of computer-integrated control systems; - knowledge of the current state and trends in domestic and foreign software development of computer-integrated process control systems; - ability to reasonably choose the structure and means, as well as to create software for the construction of computer-integrated process control systems; - ability to perform debugging and testing of software of computer-integrated control systems; - ability to use modern applications, network technologies and communication protocols for the design of computer-integrated process control systems.

Summary of the subject: The discipline involves the study of the basic principles of design, construction and commissioning of computer-integrated control systems, namely the system analysis of the control object; execution of graphic representation of the scheme of information flows and development of the general structural scheme of management; development of algorithms and software design of computer-integrated control systems, both individual technological processes and production in general; design of schemes of electric connections, computer and industrial networks of devices of computer-integrated control systems; development and design of network communications and network equipment.
Assessment methods and criteria: - written reports on practical works (30%); - final control (control measure - exam): written and oral form (70%).

Learning outcomes: As a result of the course project, students must: - know the basic principles of design, as well as the limitations and scope of modern applications, network technologies and communication protocols for software design of computer-integrated process control systems; - be able to choose the structure, hardware, software for software development and design of computer-integrated process control systems, as well as perform their debugging and testing of computer-integrated control systems software.

Summary of the subject: The purpose of the course project is to form students' knowledge and practical skills of the basic principles and methods of design and calculation work at all stages of software design of computer-integrated process control systems using modern integration technologies.
