Lecturer: Assoc. Prof., Sc.D. Fedoryshyn Roman Myronovych Lecturer, Demkiv Ihor Bogdanovych
Semester: 2 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: 1) knowledge of the basic architectural principles of construction of industrial control systems, the principles of their operation; 2) knowledge of programming languages of microprocessor controllers in automated control systems; 3) knowledge of the current state and trends of development, promising domestic and foreign developments and the latest technologies in the field of computer and industrial control systems; 4) the ability to reasonably choose the structure and means for the construction of automated control systems for chemical production using Siemens; 5) the ability to configure the components of microprocessor controllers based on the Simatic S7-400 model using the Siemens Simatic PCS7 application software package; 6) understand the limitations and scope of such tools, on the basis of which to use them to build automated systems in distributed control systems of technological processes of chemical production.
Required prior and related subjects: Computer technology and programming, part 1, part 2 Microprocessor technology Microprocessor automation software
Summary of the subject: The discipline involves the study of the basic architectural principles of building automated control systems based on standard tools Siemens Simatic PCS7. The design of CFC \ SFC automation systems, function block libraries, HW configuration, graphics editor for operator station design, PDM utilities for field level device configuration are considered. Particular attention is paid to the study of microprocessors Simatic S7-400. The HART, Profibus-FMS, DP, PA protocols are considered. Examples of realization of the distributed automation system with use of the listed means are given.
Assessment methods and criteria: Diagnosis of knowledge is carried out by current control (PC - 30 points) and semester control in the form of an exam (EC - 70 points). PC is made in the form of: - oral express control during laboratory classes; - protection of laboratory works. The EC presents theoretical questions and tasks that require the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in solving practical problems of distributed production management systems.
