Learning outcomes: • knowledge of advanced programming technologies;
• knowledge of a programming language, the most suitable for solving of an electrical engineering and power industry problems;
• knowledge of structure, principles of construction and functioning of applied program and information support for solving of an electrical engineering and power industry problems;
• ability to work with the personal computer;
• ability to make and realize algorithms for solving of an electrical engineering and power industry problems, using one of programming systems.

Summary of the subject: Programming environment Microsoft Visual Studio. The programming language Microsoft Visual C#: the types of data, operators, arrays, strings, pointers, functions. Object-oriented programming. Developing a Windows GUI in Microsoft Visual C #. Implementation problems in electrical and power engineering in Microsoft Visual C#.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory and computational works, oral questioning (30%)
• final control - exam: written and oral form (70%)
