Learning outcomes: • depth understanding of principles of production management systems, transmission and distribution of electricity; • the ability to use of reference books, automation design and implementation of research • ability to develop schemes and technical solutions for systems and relay protection and automation of a given object; • the ability to choose digital relay protection and automation of a given object and calculate the parameters of their operation

Summary of the subject: Characteristics of base practices. Analysis of baseline data about the object and its electrical activity of the master's qualification to perform the work. Formation of goals and tasks to be performed. The choice of object and research activities. Conclusions.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written report from practices, oral examination (30%) • Final control - credit: protection report orally (70%)
