Learning outcomes: GLO 5. Assess the complexity of tasks in planning activities and processing its results. GLO 7. Research and analyze models of development of national economies and justify measures to achieve their strategic goals in the transformation of world economic relations. GLO 8. To develop and research adaptive models of equalization of imbalances and leveling of threats of global development, to offer variants of the decision of problems by results of research. GLO 9. Monitor, analyze, evaluate the activities of global firms (corporations, strategic alliances, consortia, unions, trusts, etc.) in order to identify their competitive positions and advantages in world markets. GLO 12. To determine the geo-economics’ strategies of countries and their regional economic priorities, taking into account national economic interests and the security component of international economic relations in the context of global problems of mankind and the asymmetry of the distribution of world resources. Kn 1. Conceptual knowledge acquired in the process of learning and / or professional activity at the level of the latest achievements, which are the basis for original thinking and innovation, in particular in the context of research. А 1 Solving complex problems and problems that require constant updating and integration of knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete / insufficient information and conflicting requirements.

Summary of the subject: Competition in a market economy. Competitiveness of goods and services in the international market. Analysis and evaluation of international competitiveness of enterprises. Strategies of international competitiveness of enterprises. Management system of international competitiveness of enterprises. Modern competition policies of countries and their effectiveness. Global competitiveness.
Assessment methods and criteria: current control (30%): work in the VLE, laboratory work, oral examination; performance of control works; final control (70%): testing (50%), oral answer (20%).

Learning outcomes: GLO 2. To think creatively, show flexibility in decision-making based on logical arguments and verified facts in a limited time and resources based on the use of various diagnostic methodologies of leading international organizations GLO 3. To systematize, synthesize and organize obtained information, identify problems, formulate conclusions and develop recommendations using effective approaches and technologies, specialized software to solve complex problems taking into account the cross-cultural characteristics of international economic relations. Monitor, analyze, evaluate the activities of global firms (corporations, strategic alliances, consortia, unions, trusts, etc.) in order to identify their competitive positions and advantages in world markets. Summary of the subject: 1. General characteristics of the analyzed enterprise. Subject and object of competition, features of competition. 2. The type of market in which the company operates and the action of competition forces according to the model of M. Porter. 3. Analysis of the competitive advantages of the main products of the enterprise, industry, region, country where it operates and internal and external competitive advantages of the analyzed enterprise. 4. Monitoring and assessment of the competitiveness of the three main competitors of the enterprise, including foreign ones. 5. Competitive advantages and disadvantages of the analyzed enterprise, as well as threats and opportunities through SWOT-analysis. 6. Formation and substantiation of the strategy of the enterprise in the domestic and foreign markets. 7. Features of the competitiveness management system at a particular enterprise. 8. Assessment of the company's ability to participate in global competition and its possible global strategy.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current and final control: current control over the performance of the individual task, final control in the form of assessing the course project (credit - 100%).
