Learning outcomes: Tasks of studying the discipline: providing students with objective and up-to-date information in the field of research on the origin and functioning of religion as a special form of worldview; demonstrate to students the relevance of research on the impact of religion on history, society and man As a result of studying the module the student must: - know the mental, social and historical causes of religion; - know the differences between different religious beliefs and their impact on modern politics and social processes; - to know about the confessional situation in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXI century and possible ways to resolve religious conflicts; - be able to compare the factors that determine the nature and functioning of different types of religion; - be able to analyze the influence of religious factors on the social picture of certain nations, ethnic groups, countries - be able to develop skills that enable the practical resolution of religious conflicts on the basis of constitutional law, freedom of conscience; - be able to distinguish between political and religious reasons that shape the modern religious picture of the world and influence international politics; - understand the essence of the social dimension of global economic development and implement the principles of social responsibility in the activities of the subjects of international economic relations; - to present the results of own research by preparing scientific publications and approbations at scientific events; - have conceptual knowledge acquired in the process of learning and / or professional activity at the level of the latest achievements, which are the basis for original thinking and innovation, in particular in the context of research; - be able to clearly and unambiguously convey their own conclusions, as well as the knowledge and explanations that substantiate them, to specialists and non-specialists, in particular to students.
Required prior and related subjects: - Prequests: philosophy, physics, mathematics. - Korekvizit: disciplines of methodical and methodological direction.
Summary of the subject: Philosophy and science in the historical and structural-logical contexts. Problems of modern scientific methodology. Philosophical analysis of relations between the subject and the object of scientific cognition. Philosophical comprehension of the empirical basis of science. Problems of transition from the facts to the theory in modern scientific cognition. Philosophical problems of scientific heuristics. Philosophical context of determination of paradigmatic characteristics of social and humanitarian scientific knowledge.
Assessment methods and criteria: - Current control (40%): oral interviews, presentations at seminars, tests, colloquium. - Final control (60%): the final control work, credit.
