Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems during professional activities in the field of telecommunications, radio electronics and electronic engineering or in the learning process, which involves the application of theories and methods of designing telecommunications software platforms and is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions. The ability to be critical and self-critical to understand the factors that have a positive or negative impact on communication, and the ability to identify and take into account these factors in specific communication situations; The ability to produce new ideas, to show creativity, the ability to system thinking Acquisition of a flexible way of thinking, which makes it possible to understand and solve problems and tasks, while maintaining a critical attitude to established scientific concepts; The ability to solve problems and make appropriate informed decisions The ability to work independently and in a team, the ability to communicate with colleagues on matters of the industry regarding scientific achievements, both at the general level and at the level of specialists; Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of the profession; The ability to communicate effectively at the professional and social levels; The ability to think abstractly, the ability to analyze and synthesize, which makes it possible to formulate conclusions (diagnosis) for various types of complex management tasks, to plan, analyze, control and evaluate one's own work and the work of others Have the skills to develop and manage projects to ensure a high level of efficiency in the implementation of various types of projects in the subject area; Skills in using information and communication technologies, implementing computer programs and using existing ones; The ability to evaluate and maintain the quality of the work performed Knowledge of theories and methods of designing modern radio engineering systems Knowledge of theories and methods of designing modern telecommunication systems and networks The ability to develop and use mathematical models of radio engineering and telecommunication systems and networks at the macro and micro levels using specialized computer programs The ability to develop a complex system of information security according to the direction of professional activity Knowledge of basic specifications and regulatory documents for the design and operation of radio technical and telecommunication systems and their elements Ability to design radio engineering and telecommunication systems in accordance with current specifications and other regulatory documents Knowledge of the basics of civil security in a professional direction Ability to communicate in English at a level sufficient for conducting scientific research and performing official duties Ability to work with technical literature and search for necessary technical information Ability to administer telecommunication networks and information systems. Ability to apply network technologies and protocols in the process of development and operation of telecommunication networks. Ability to deploy software in information and telecommunication networks of enterprises, data centers and cloud environments. Ability to apply Cloud technologies for deployment of distributed service systems The ability to assess the level of existing technologies in the field of professional activity, the effectiveness of technical solutions and the possibility of the emergence of objects of intellectual property rights; The ability to form programs of research, analysis, evaluation, forecasting and development of the objects of one's professional activity, assessment of opportunities that the implementation of innovations will bring.
Learning outcomes: Knowledge of theories and methods of designing radio engineering and telecommunication systems and networks, including basic specifications and regulatory documents to the extent necessary for solving specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional activity Knowledge in the field of civil protection in professional activities with the aim of minimizing the impact of emergency situations on the functioning of radio technical and telecommunication systems Knowledge of technologies for construction and operation of mobile communication systems and networks of 3-5 generations in an amount sufficient for their calculation and planning. Knowledge of protocols and methods of building information communication networks in an amount sufficient for carrying out professional activities Knowledge of the basics of information security of telecommunication systems Knowledge of the basics of information communication system programming in an amount sufficient for the development and support of specialized software systems Knowledge of the main specifications and normative documents for the design and operation of telecommunication systems and their elements Knowledge of routing and flow distribution algorithms and protocols in telecommunication networks to the extent necessary for their system administration Capacity for lifelong learning and continuous professional development in the workplace Ability to work in a team and present the results of one's activities The ability to apply the methodological basis for conducting scientific research in the field of radio electronics and telecommunications The ability to apply knowledge in the field of information security of radio technical and telecommunication systems and networks for planning and applying measures, making decisions on ensuring the protection of information and technical systems in the field of professional activity Ability to design systems and networks in the field of professional activity using current regulations and technical standards The ability to apply knowledge in the field of civil protection in professional activities in order to minimize the impact The ability to speak English in an amount sufficient for carrying out professional activities, writing scientific articles, reading and interpreting international technical standards The ability to administer heterogeneous local telecommunication networks based on the TCP/IP protocol stack The ability to develop specialized software systems and complexes in an amount sufficient for carrying out professional activities Ability to plan, develop and research distributed heterogeneous service systems using elements of Cloud technologies Ability to plan, develop and research IoT systems using ubiquitous computing technologies Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish); The ability to use various methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; Ability to demonstrate understanding of basic environmental principles, occupational health and safety, and their application

Summary of the subject: The course project is intended for students to acquire practical skills and abilities in the use of methods, techniques and tools intended for the planning and design of telecommunication networks in the process of project implementation, as well as for them to master the skills of using relevant standards and other normative and professional literature, in particular, in English, which regulates the requirements for the performance of project works in the field of telecommunication networks.
Опис: Introductory lecture Acquaintance with the task, the methodology of the course project (term paper) and clarification of the task option Formulation of the goal and requirements for the project, formation of the technical task Construction of a logical model of the proposed network Building a physical model of the proposed network. Selection of equipment and facilities Elaboration of the network implementation plan Elaboration of the project implementation schedule Final design of the text and graphic parts of the explanatory note to the project. Submission of the finished project for final verification and protection Protection of the course project (term paper)
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Current control in the form of a teacher checking parts of the course project (course work) in accordance with the description of the stages of the course project (course work). 2. Final control in the form of defense of the course project (term paper).

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
