Proficiency in the state language at the general and scientific levels; 3. Proficiency in a foreign language at general and professional levels; 4. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis based on logical arguments and proven facts; 5. Mastery of basic knowledge, including modern scientific and technical achievements and their use in practical situations; Professional competences 1. Use theoretical knowledge in geodetic practice and analyze research results; 2. To design the implementation of various engineering and geodetic works using the latest technologies; 3. Classify and describe the latest technologies in the field of geodesy; 4. Conduct observations and experiments using the latest geodetic devices and technologies.
Learning outcomes: Lectures, laboratory work, practical classes, practices, independent work based on textbooks, study guides and lecture notes, consultations with teachers. Written and oral exams, differentiated assessments, defense of laboratory reports, ongoing control.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: 1. Fundamentals of engineering geodesy; 2. Electronic engineering and geodetic instruments; 3. Physic.
Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Modern engineering and geodetic technologies" includes the study of new engineering and geodetic devices: receivers of satellite signals, scanners, trackers, inclinometers, electronic total stations, digital levels, as well as modern engineering and geodetic technologies for creating geodetic networks and geodetic support of construction. In addition, methods of taking into account or weakening the effect of the surface layer of the troposphere on the results of measurements by ground geodetic instruments are considered.
Опис: 1. Satellite positioning. General principles. Time scales and frequency standards; 2. Global satellite systems. Satellite signals; 3. Equipment of GNSS users. Software for processing GNSS observations; 4. Laser scanners; 5. Modern electronic tacheometers; 6. Modern digital levels. Processing of observation results; 7. Properties of the troposphere; 8. The influence of the external environment on measurements in the surface layer of the atmosphere; 9. The influence of refraction on the results of measurements by electronic rangefinders.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral examination, reference work (30%); • final control (70% control measure, exam), written-oral form (70%).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Assessment of knowledge is carried out on a 100-point scale, with adjustment to the national scale: "excellent", "good", "satisfactory" and the ECTS scale: A, B, C, D, E.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
