Завдання: The study of the academic discipline involves the formation of the following competencies in the student:
General competences:

Professional competences:
СК 1. The ability to operate the basic categorical and conceptual apparatus of sociology.
СК 2. Ability to master and use basic classical and modern sociological theories.
Learning outcomes: Use the conceptual apparatus of sociology in educational, research and other areas of professional activity.
Understand the history of sociology, its modern concepts and theories, the main problems.
Apply the provisions of sociological theories and concepts to the study of social change in Ukraine and the world.
Explain the patterns and features of development and functioning of social phenomena in the context of professional tasks.
Communicate fluently in state and foreign languages orally and in writing on professional matters.
Be able to use information and communication technologies in the process of searching, collecting and analyzing sociological information.
Substantiate their own position, make and argue independent conclusions based on research and analysis of professional literature.
Be able to develop a program of sociological research.
Have the skills to collect social information using quantitative and qualitative methods.
Present the results of their own research to professionals and non-specialists.
Conceptual scientific and practical knowledge.
Critical understanding of theories, principles, methods and concepts in the field of professional activity and / or training.
In-depth cognitive and practical skills, mastery and innovation at the level required to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional activity or training.

Summary of the subject: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to understand the specifics of the organization as a subject of social life; to investigate the organizational structure, culture, processes and phenomena that occur in organizations; conduct applied studies of organizational behavior in the sociological dimension.
Опис: Sociology of organizations as a special sociological theory. The essence of modern organization. Organization as an open system. Types of organizations. Structure of organizations. Organizational behavior: definition. Models of organizational behavior. Man in organizational space. Personality through the prism of individual factors influencing on organizational behavior. Organizational culture. Group as the basis of the organization. Leadership and group phenomena. The role of teams in the functioning of organizations. Organizational processes. Communication in organizations. Organizational conflicts. Behavior in conflict. System of conflict management in the organization. Conflict prevention and resolution. Organizational development. Resistance to changes in the organization. Organization: a sociological view from the outside. The image of the organization.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral interviews, participation in discussions and interactive exercises, presentation of the study project (60%)
• final control test, written form (40%)

– quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength;
- correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus;
- speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation);
- the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions.

Performing interactive exercises or case analysis - 4
- the sequence of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- approaches to solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- the quality of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena and
processes during the solution of the situation proposed in the exercise or case.
Analysis of the organization - 20
1) "Diagnosis of organizational culture according to Cameron-Quinn"
or
2) "Assessment of the structure of organizational development (SOR) according to M. Renzi"
– structure (up to 10 pages);
- quality of sources of information and content of work;
- the level of independence and the depth of meaningfulness of the introduction, presentation of the material and conclusions;
– level of familiarity with actual material, terminology and concepts;
- the ability to analyze, compare, classify and summarize the material.
