Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying an academic discipline is to master and implement the competences declared for this discipline; mastered by students of the most important provisions and theoretical schemes of the course "Stratification dimension of human capital"; familiarization with the features of the stratification approach in sociology.
Завдання: The study of the academic discipline involves the formation of the following competencies in the student: General competences: ЗК.1.Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. ЗК.6.Ability to act socially responsible and conscious. ЗК.8.Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. Professional competences: СК.1.Ability to operate with the basic categorical-conceptual sociological apparatus. СК.2.Ability to master and use basic classical and modern sociological theories.
Learning outcomes: Use the conceptual apparatus of sociology in educational, research and other areas of professional activity. Understand the history of sociology, its modern concepts and theories, the main problems. Apply the provisions of sociological theories and concepts to the study of social change in Ukraine and the world. Explain the patterns and features of development and functioning of social phenomena in the context of professional tasks. Communicate fluently in state and foreign languages orally and in writing on professional matters. Be able to use information and communication technologies in the process of searching, collecting and analyzing sociological information. Substantiate their own position, make and argue independent conclusions based on research and analysis of professional literature. Be able to develop a program of sociological research. Have the skills to collect social information using quantitative and qualitative methods. Present the results of their own research to professionals and non-specialists. Conceptual scientific and practical knowledge. Critical understanding of theories, principles, methods and concepts in the field of professional activity and / or training. In-depth cognitive and practical skills, mastery and innovation at the level required to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional activity or training. Data collection, interpretation and application. Communication on professional issues, including in a foreign language, orally and in writing. Manage complex technical or professional activities or projects. Forming judgments that take into account social, scientific and ethical aspects. Organization and management of professional development of individuals and groups. Ability to continue learning with a significant degree of autonomy.

Summary of the subject: The course "Stratification dimension of human capital" involves students learning the most important provisions and theoretical schemes of studying social space and the social structure of societies, key criteria of inequality and typology of social stratification, theoretical and methodological principles of stratification analysis. The study of the course involves the student's work in lectures, practical classes, study of the recommended literature. When studying theoretical provisions, interactive forms of teaching should dominate.
Опис: Social space and social structure of society. Criteria of inequality and typology of social stratification. Stratification in measuring statuses and status positions. Class analysis. Stratification (gradation) approach to social inequality. Structural-activity (integrative) theories of social stratification. Theoretical and methodological principles of stratification analysis. Processes of social structuring in modern Ukraine.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral interview, participation in discussions, abstracts (40%) • final control (control measure, exam): written form (60%)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Report: 5 points – correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge; – quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; - correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus; - speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation); - the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions. Supplement: 2 points - a scientifically based statement that reveals the essence of phenomena, processes, patterns. Written answer during classroom independent work: 5 points – correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge; – quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; - the formation of general educational and subject skills and abilities - the ability to integrate and synthesize knowledge from individual meaningful modules and topics - disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena, processes; - the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions. Express survey: 2 points - a short correct answer without additional arguments.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
