Summary of the subject: In view of the above, the program and methodology of the course "Methods of collecting sociological information. Part 2." The program is designed for 30 lecture and 30 seminar hours. Practical classes should consolidate students' theoretical knowledge, teach them to independently analyze and compare existing methods of collecting information in sociology in a qualitative paradigm, since the awareness and qualified application of this knowledge is a guarantee of professional activity.
Course "Methods of collecting sociological information. Part 2." fits into the structure of educational disciplines of future sociologists, complements and develops them.
The subject of the course is the process of collecting sociological information using qualitative methods.
The scientific and methodological foundations of the educational discipline are the modern phenomenological paradigm in sociology.
The main methodological principles of studying the course are: scientificity, systematicity, comprehensiveness, accessibility, practicality, logic, clarity.
The logic of studying the course is based on the logic of deploying different tactics of qualitative research.
The academic discipline is studied during one semester.
In order to qualitatively perform the main tasks of the educational process, the problem-based technology of studying the course is used. Practical classes are conducted with mandatory elements of current control, with elements of simulation role-playing games, analysis of specific situations, solving practical tasks.

Qualitative research in the light of fundamental sociological paradigms. General methodology research project in the "qualitative sociology." Individual depth interviews as the main method of getting information in qualitative research. Preparing for an individual in-depth interviews. Focus group discussion in qualitative sociological tradition. The initial description and analysis of text data of "quality" of social research. Fundamentals analysis and data presentation of "quality" social research

Summary of the subject: 1. Relevance of the topic. A course work can claim to be relevant to one or another degree only when its topic meets the modern needs of the development of the economy and society, and the issues revealed in the work are important for understanding the essence and structure of the activities of state financial bodies, banks, insurance organizations, enterprises, their economic, organizational, legal and other aspects.
2. The level of theoretical justification. This requirement means that the student must reveal the chosen subject of the course work at the current level of development of economic science, using such approaches and scientific knowledge that explain various phenomena and events from the standpoint of today. In addition, the student must fully disclose the main concepts and terms related to the problem of the course work, include only objective facts and real practical examples in the content of the material.
3. Research character. The term paper should contain research elements:
- development of a sufficient number of modern domestic and foreign literary and electronic sources (legal and legal framework, textbooks, study guides, monographs, handbooks, encyclopedias, magazine and newspaper articles, statistical yearbooks, Internet data, etc.);
- systematization and analysis of various methods, views and approaches and formation of one's own vision on this basis regarding the solution of the problematic issues mentioned in the work;
- comparison of theoretical and practical principles of activity of domestic and foreign state financial bodies, business structures of various forms of ownership and business sectors; development of recommendations for their improvement in Ukraine.
4. Competency of registration. This is an important requirement for the quality of course work. The work must be grammatically and stylistically correct. To do this, it is necessary to adhere to the norms of Ukrainian spelling and methodical recommendations regarding the design of the coursework. Fulfillment of the specified requirement is aimed at forming in the student the culture of writing scientific papers, which may be needed in his further professional activity.

Assessment methods and criteria: • writing a term paper and its defense (100%).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: A coursework completed in accordance with the requirements recommendations and submitted to the department in a timely manner for registration and verification by the academic supervisor is evaluated at a maximum of 100 points: 0-60 points are assigned by the academic supervisor in the review of the coursework, 0-40 points - a commission before which the student defends the course work. Completed course work is allowed to be defended, provided that it is rated at 35 or more points.
After checking the work, the supervisor must write a review on it indicating the amount of points with which the student is allowed to defend the course work before the commission of the relevant department. The sum of points awarded by the supervisor in the review includes points for the proper performance of each element of the coursework.
The final evaluation of the quality of the performance and defense of coursework by students is carried out by members of the commission based on the sum of the supervisor's points for the completed work and the sum of points for the defense of the coursework before the commission.
