Мета вивчення дисципліни: assimilation by students of conceptual approaches regarding the history of the emergence and development of theoretical knowledge of mankind about the state, law, economy, politics and legislation. Acquisition of a complete system of knowledge about the state-legal and economic spheres of social life. Formulate the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communications and regional studies or in the learning process, which involves the application of theories and methods of political science and the science of international relations and is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions.
Завдання: Tasks of the academic discipline: as a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. To form a holistic view of the philosophical-methodological, cognitive aspects of specific state-legal views and concepts, economic theories and teachings, socio-political relations, the development of the theoretical foundations of Ukrainian political science. 2. To provide theoretically grounded and conceptually balanced knowledge of humanity about the state, law, economy in their historical development; 3. Analyze systematized, generalized knowledge about the theoretical understanding of the development and functioning of the state-legal and economic spheres; about the essence of the state, law, economy.
Learning outcomes: Investigate the problems of international relations, regional development, foreign policy, international communications, using modern political, economic and legal theories and concepts, scientific methods and disciplinary approaches, present research results, provide appropriate recommendations

Summary of the subject: Main stages of development of the global legal and economic notions. The origin and development of the political, legal and economic notions in the countries of Ancient East. Political, legal and economic notions of ancient Greece and the Rome Empire. Political, legal and economic doctrines of the European Middle Ages and the Renaissance era. Political, legal and economic notions of years of the bourgeois revolutions (17-18th century). Political, legal and economic doctrines of the age of Enlightenment and period of the struggle for independence of USA (18th century). Political and legal doctrines of the years of the French Revolution. Political liberalism. Political and legal notions of the European socialism and communism. Political, legal and economic doctrines of the Western Europe in 19-20th century. The national identity idea in Ukraine.

State and legal concepts of Western Europe in the second half of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
