Summary of the subject: As a result of the study of the academic discipline, the student should develop a comprehensive system of knowledge regarding the acquisition of practical skills in the field of spatial organization of business and their practical application when choosing the optimal place for the location of the enterprise.
During the course of study, students will: gain an in-depth understanding of the philosophy of spatial economics and be able to solve specialized tasks and solve complex practical problems in the field of spatial organization of business during professional and scientific-educational activities, which involve the application of classical and modern economic theories, methods and tools of economic justification of project decisions in determining the location of enterprises; learn to solve the tasks and make informed decisions about the spatial organization of business and the location of production and consumption facilities; learn to model the process of formation of differential rent and prices for natural resources depending on the location of producers and consumers of natural resources; will be able to conduct research on the location process of the enterprise at a high professional level, generate new ideas, show initiative and entrepreneurship; will be able to economically substantiate decisions in the field of cost management, business processes, investment projects, pricing when choosing the location of the enterprise; acquire the ability to understand and take into account social, ecological, ethical, technical and technological aspects that influence the formation of decisions in the field of spatial organization of business; get in-depth knowledge and understanding of the conceptual-methodological and methodical-applied principles of the spatial organization of production; learn to choose and practically apply the methods, tools and levers of the territorial anchoring of the enterprise; acquire the skills to justify decisions regarding the spatial organization of production
Опис: Theoretical aspects of spatial organization of business.
Principles and methods of spatial differentiation of production costs. Classification of productions by factors of spatial organization of the economy. Economic and mathematical modeling of the process of spatial organization of business. The influence of the state on the spatial organization of the economy. Peculiarities of spatial anchoring of business in agglomerations. The influence of transport costs on the spatial organization of business. Evaluation and making of project decisions under the risk of uncertainty of the location of the enterprise. Features of the spatial organization of business in preferential zones.
The influence of the location of natural resources on the spatial organization of business. Modeling the process of formation of differential rent and prices for natural resources depending on the location of producers and consumers of natural resources. Economic valuation of land and its spatial aspects. Comparison of project implementation options depending on location costs.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of knowledge diagnosis are current and final (examination) control.
In the process of current control, methods of knowledge diagnosis are: assessment of student performances and their activity during business and simulation games at lecture classes; verification of the performance of laboratory work, protection of reports on the performance of laboratory work; verification, discussion and defense of an individual research project.
Examination control: assessment of written and oral components

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
