Characteristics of the educational program: The purpose of the educational program is to train highly qualified scientists in the field of science and practice of social work on the basis of a deep understanding of the debatable issues of social development and the role of social work in it; formation of the ability to solve complex problems on the basis of gaining experience of high-level scientific internship in an interdisciplinary environment.
Gained competence: Integral competence Ability to solve complex problems in the field of social work on the basis of acquired in-depth professional knowledge, scientific and cultural value and semantic orientations, by critically understanding the relevant problems of social practice and research and innovation, creating new holistic knowledge and professional practice in social work at the interdisciplinary level General competencies 1) the ability to apply advanced conceptual and methodological knowledge in research and professional activities, including at the boundaries of subject areas; 2) ability to write, speak, listen in native and foreign languages in formal and informal communication; 3) ability to cooperate in the local and international environment in the process of research activities); 4) the ability to identify and meet their own needs for the harmonious development of a holistic personality and scientific development; 5) the ability to intellectual honesty and fulfillment of ethical obligations; 6) the ability to demonstrate independence, timeliness and planning in the study; 7) the ability to initiate innovative complex projects, leadership and autonomy in the process of their project implementation;
Special (professional) competencies (SC) 1) the ability to promote the theory and practice of social work; 2) the ability to demonstrate the subject and modern knowledge base in professional and related fields; 3) the ability to conceptualize, design, apply and evaluate the subject project of the study; 4) the ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of a large number of modern research techniques in social work 5) to find, select, contextualize and interpret a significant amount of source base, apply the principles, methods, tools and technologies of health activities in research and practical social work; 6) the ability to initiate and manage the processes of planned social change in meso- and microsocial systems; 7) the ability to navigate in the features of international experience of practical social work; 8) the ability to implement inclusion technologies and other innovative technologies, methods, means of social work in a situation of incompleteness and work with different categories of clients aimed at social inclusion
Program learning outcomes: 1) deep substantiated knowledge of the basic research paradigms, strategies and procedures and modern paradigms and concepts of education, science and social work and their implementation in own research; 2) understanding the diversity of postmodern approaches to ensure the integration of theory and practice and the creation of innovative social services; 3) understanding the conceptual significance of the principles, methods, means of health care in research and practical activities in social work; 4) the ability to initiate, design, manage the processes of planned social change in social systems of different levels; 5) knowledge of the peculiarities of the application of an integrated approach in the system of social services, taking into account the needs of health care in the context of intersectoral cooperation, and implement it in the system of social services; 6) to be guided in the questions of the international experience of social work, social policy and to use these knowledge in the theoretical substantiation and practical introduction of innovative foreign practices in domestic social work
