Learning outcomes: - knowledge of the peculiarities of the application of
an integrated approach in the system of social
services, taking into account the needs of health care
in the context of intersectoral cooperation, and
implement it in the system of social services;
-orient in the issues of international experience of
social work, social policy and use this knowledge in
the theoretical substantiation and practical introduction
of innovative foreign practices in domestic social work
- ability to deeply substantiate knowledge about the
main processes in social work and social sphere in the
world for the last quarter of a century; detailed or very
detailed knowledge of a special field of research in
combination with knowledge of the general scientific
discussion and contribution to the individual field of
research of the social sphere;
- ability to implement technologies of inclusion, other
innovative technologies, methods, means of social
work in a situation of incompatibility of different
categories of clients aimed at social inclusion;
-ability to develop and implement rehabilitation
programs of social work on the basis of complexity
and interdisciplinary approach with the involvement
of foreign partners;

Summary of the subject: Clinical social work is defined as a specialized area of
social work practice that includes the diagnosis,
treatment and prevention of mental illness, as well as
assisting people in solving psychological, emotional,
behavioral and / or social problems that affect their
quality of life. This means intervening in situations of
trauma, family conflicts, physical illness and difficult
life situations such as unemployment or drug addiction.
Clinical social workers work in a variety of settings,
including hospital wards (from pediatric emergency
care to oncology, cardiology, emergency care and
geriatrics), community health centers, child care
services, staff care programs, schools, and primary
care clinics. -sanitary care of abuse and drug
addiction clinics, programs for the treatment of eating
disorders, correctional facilities and hospices and
palliative care. Clinical social workers also have the
opportunity to conduct private practice.
Clinical social workers typically use a combination of
individual therapy, group therapy, and / or different
business responsibilities to support their clients,
depending on the work environment and the population they serve.
This area of social work is characterized by a holistic
approach "man in the environment"; Clinical social
workers not only assess and help solve their clients '
mental and emotional problems, but also work on
understanding how clients' problems interact with their
family, financial and social lives. Clinical social workers then use this understanding to help people function better in these family, social,
and socioeconomic contexts.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (oral examination, test control
, performance and defense of individual
tasks) - 40 points.
Exam - 60 points (written and oral form of
answer to the ticket question)
